Dan Aloe, CEO
Daniel Aloe is the president, co-founder, and sole owner of Capital Asset Protection, Inc. Dan became aware of the critical importance of dependable, professional security services through his years of working in various management positions in his family's coal mining businesses. In 1993, he and a colleague founded CAP together. Then, in 2004, Dan became the sole owner of the company. He remains active in his family's businesses as a board member of Imperial Land Corporation - the third largest landowner in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania - and Quality Aggregates. Dan is an alumnus of St. Francis University of Pennsylvania. He is an avid sportsman, enjoying skiing and ice hockey during Pittsburgh's cold winter season.
Mark Drear, Vice-President, Business Development
Mark Drear brings to Capital Asset Protection over twenty-eight years of public safety experience in contract security, throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. As a Regional VP leading a national security guard firm, Drear was responsible for business development, acquisition integration, and operations. As a Market VP, Drear developed and trained marketing teams. As a Branch Manager in the Charlotte N.C. area, Mark oversaw all areas of operations, training, federal and state compliance, and licensing for 300+ security guards. Mark was equally recognized as a Field Supervisor, earning numerous awards for client retention and excellence. In 1984 Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Paul Anthony, Vice President Special Projects
Paul Anthony has over 30 years of law enforcement, private security, human resources, and safety management experience. Mr. Anthony has implemented and directed high-risk security operations including such venues as the construction of a nuclear power station and the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh, PA. As Director of Safety with a regional casino, Mr. Anthony oversaw gaming security then safety in a three-state area for over 2400 employees. He is the former Chief Deputy of the Beaver County Sheriff's Department. Mr. Anthony also has unique experience in corporate expansion and acquisitions in the security industry.
Nicholas Busick, Sr. Investigator, Criminal/Civil Investigation Division
Nicholas Busick is a graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy and the State of Georgia Police Academy, at which time he received the distinguished Director's Award. Busick is a veteran police officer serving in Weirton, West Virginia and Metro Atlanta. Busick was a licensed Private Investigator in Georgia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania before entering the Gaming Industry. Busick's senior investigative expertise is in the gaming industry as well as the private and corporate arena. Criminal and civil investigative expertise includes felony larceny, narcotics, missing persons, auto accidents, fraud and homicides. Busick is a certified instructor in many fields including "Use of Force" and is a member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers. He additionally maintains his certification as a "Master Certified Personal Trainer". He devotes his time to the community with continued volunteer work in Anti Bullying campaigns, as well as being a certified high school wrestling referee.
Marie Tanda Dixon, Business Development and Relationship Manager
Marie Tanda Dixon has a recognized tenure with the U.S. Department of Justice, Washington, D.C. As a senior Security Specialist, Ms. Dixon coordinated the Witness Security Program and was the DOJ-HQ liaison with Federal Districts and investigative agencies. As the Program Director for a private investigative firm, she was responsible for business development, implementing the workers’ compensation investigation surveillance department, and operational support for executive protection details and training. Ms. Dixon also brings to Capital Asset Protection a background in business management and is responsible for contract and security industry compliance issues.
Mike Gremba, Vice President
Mike spent eight years as a police officer in Mt. Lebanon, PA and was a member of the police department's SWAT team. For twelve years, he was a supervisor in physical security for Gulf Oil in Pittsburgh, PA and Chevron Oil in San Francisco, CA and Houston, TX. He also spent time as a licensed private investigator. Mike is ACT 235 (Lethal Weapons Act) certified and a certified instructor in nonviolent crisis intervention, as well as a certified narcotics canine handler. He is currently working as an adjunct Safety and Security professor at the Pittsburgh Technical Institute in Oakdale, PA.
